My friend, Dottie. May I call you friend? Your words make me feel that we have known each other through many dreams. I confess, I do not know what it is like to live in a place where I can not walk amidst the trees or hear the song of the waters, yet it seems that you have done your best to bring the natural world into your nest high in the sky. It seems to me that you have many memories of stroking sun-warmed bark, smelling the sweetness of spring blossoms, hearing the wind sing through the fir trees. You keep in your habitat items that awaken those memories in you, and that is good. The memories live in you and it is to those that the Fairies will come. I will post a picture of myself for you. Print it out, keep it near your sleeping place, and I will visit you in your dreams.
Thank you for your love and caring for me and for my folk.

Dear Light that Listens:
I am so glad to make your acquaintance. My email connection with Faerie Woodland is very important to me since I live in the center of a city on the 18th floor of a high rise building. I have very little opportunity to walk in wooded areas, so I do my best to make faeries welcome in my apartment. I have a faerie house in my bedroom with lots of leaves, dried flowers, crystals and other things sacred to me surrounding it, and I put milk outside the faerie house door every night. It never disappears but I read somewhere that the essence of the offering is transferred anywhere. I also have a faerie doorway on one of my bookshelves with lots of dried flowers, acorns, pine cones and leaves around it. There are also two wooden boxes decorated with shiny things and filled with moss and I put milk outside there as well. It is all in front of my favorite books of stories of the magical kingdom. Anyway, I hope that you and your friends will come and visit some night, or day. I don't know if any ever come to my home but I say good morning and goodnight anyway, just in case. I loved your blog and will look forward to reading the other parts of your story soon. Love you! Dottie
