Somewhere Over the Rainbow by John Curtis Crawford
As the last rays of light play with the clouds before settling down for the night, a troupe of Fairies skim the rooftop, trailing trains of color in their wake. The Rainbow Clan Fairies are finished with their work for the day. There are no more rays of sun to bend inside raindrops, no more light with which to paint the sky, so now they can rest and play and recharge their colors from the magical rainbows dancing inside the house. This is the home of rainbows, as well as of Rainbow Clan Fairies, the birthplace of the colors that make up the awe and hope inspiring arc we see in the sky when the rain has passed. Every shade, every hue, of the rainbow, is born here and the Fairies dance and bathe in the colors until they are once again filled with the beautiful light with which they touch they earth and sky each day. As the Fairies drift through the front door, their friend the bluebird settles into his cozy house on the roof, a reminder that there is always magic over the rainbow.
