First came a Fairy House. Everything else flowed from that. We created a habitat where our Fairy friends could live, close to us. The Fairies moved in and told us their stories. When we took photos of their habitats, the Fairies appeared in them, giving birth to the prints, calendars, and cards.

Every product in the Fairy Store is handmade in our workshop in Oregon, created with materials from nature, and designed to provide a real home to real Fairies.

Fairy Store

Life begins with an open and unlimited imagination. We invite you see with your imagination – and give yourself permission to believe what you see. The world is alive, Fairies are real, and they peek out at us from every Earth place that remembers the wild. Let the Fairies take your imagination by the hand and lead you to the threshold. On the other side, there is magic.

An iridescent shimmer hovers above the snow covered tundra like a soap bubble, then pops in a sparkling spray when a form materializes from its center. An ancient stone castle now sits on the snow, bathed in moonlight so bright every stone in the walls glows like a gem. The full moon has come on the Winter Solstice, when the sun is farthest from this frigid place, so its silver light feels almost warm in this icy setting. Selene and Luna, sisters of the Moon have used the cosmic winds to guide the castle to this time and space for the annual rituals calling the sun to return from its long journey to the South.

This year, they have found additional magic. Across the frozen landscape, a dance of light begins.  First, faint flickers of color brush the air; then undulating sheets of reds, purples, and greens wrap the castle in their embrace. The shimmering curtains of light that are the Aurora Borealis dance through the silver moonlight as though an invisible hand is weaving the fabric of the universe. Both Moon and dancing Aurora begin in the sun's inferno but the beauty of the light's expression is most vivid against the backdrop of the night.

This is the Light that listens, the light that seeks to know our dreams. It reaches into the hidden corners of our imaginations to hear the yearning of our hearts. The Sisters stand on the parapet and begin the ritual chant. In the darkness, with the warp of the moonlight and the weft of the dancing Aurora, they turn the blades of the tower to weave the fabric of as many dreams as the castle has gathered in its travels. While they call the sun to return with warmth and light for all the growing things that feed the body, our dreams feast on the music of this enchanted moment in the lights of the night. The dreams the Light that Listens hears on this night will find form with the return of the sun.
