First came a Fairy House. Everything else flowed from that. We created a habitat where our Fairy friends could live, close to us. The Fairies moved in and told us their stories. When we took photos of their habitats, the Fairies appeared in them, giving birth to the prints, calendars, and cards.

Every product in the Fairy Store is handmade in our workshop in Oregon, created with materials from nature, and designed to provide a real home to real Fairies.

Fairy Store

Life begins with an open and unlimited imagination. We invite you see with your imagination Ė and give yourself permission to believe what you see. The world is alive, Fairies are real, and they peek out at us from every Earth place that remembers the wild. Let the Fairies take your imagination by the hand and lead you to the threshold. On the other side, there is magic.

The Forest Sprites are all characters who emerged from John Crawford's mystical digital collage prints. Each print begins as a single photograph, taken in nature, and, as John copies, inverts, and overlaps portions of the photo, he finds creatures who were hiding in the original scene. Many are shy and choose to remain a part of their environment in the print but some are intrigued by the opportunity of having John help them take on individual form. As he coaxes them from the print, they often find their voices and insert themselves into our lives and projects. You'll find some of them on the website, others in the Fairy Woodland movie, "Gateways to Faerie." Now you can bring them into your life to lighten your day, make you smile, and help you remember that Fairies are everywhere you look.

SOD: As his name implies, he likes to hug the ground. He seems himself of a protector of Earth, one who holds things in place. He's not big on change. Sod generally likes things to stay where they are, without a lot of disruption, although the subterranean movements of earthworms please him. He pretends not to like the spiders and other insects that forage in his realm but he secretly likes the way they tickle. When the winds of change are blowing through your life a bit more energetically than you might like, call on Sod - he'll help ground you and settle things down to earth.
