First came a Fairy House. Everything else flowed from that. We created a habitat where our Fairy friends could live, close to us. The Fairies moved in and told us their stories. When we took photos of their habitats, the Fairies appeared in them, giving birth to the prints, calendars, and cards.

Every product in the Fairy Store is handmade in our workshop in Oregon, created with materials from nature, and designed to provide a real home to real Fairies.

Fairy Store

Life begins with an open and unlimited imagination. We invite you see with your imagination Ė and give yourself permission to believe what you see. The world is alive, Fairies are real, and they peek out at us from every Earth place that remembers the wild. Let the Fairies take your imagination by the hand and lead you to the threshold. On the other side, there is magic.

Dimensions: 5" X 7" print; 8" X 10" cardboard backing and beveled mat.

The Forest Sprites are all characters who emerged from John Crawford's mystical digital collage prints. Each print begins as a single photograph, taken in nature, and, as John copies, inverts, and overlaps portions of the photo, he finds creatures who were hiding in the original scene. Many are shy and choose to remain a part of their environment in the print but some are intrigued by the opportunity of having John help them take on individual form. As he coaxes them from the print, they often find their voices and insert themselves into our lives and projects. You'll find some of them on the website, others in the Fairy Woodland movie, "Gateways to Faerie." Now you can bring them into your life to lighten your day, make you smile, and help you remember that Fairies are everywhere you look.

SHRUB: As one of the younger Sprites, Shrub is never too busy to play. Hide and seek is a favorite pastime and, unless the game includes our car keys, it's a lot of fun. Hiding in plain sight is her specialty - she makes herself so ordinary she blends into the surroundings, leading whoever is seeking her to focus on more interesting subjects. Shrub can also be flashy and decorative and draw your attention to her when she's trying to hide something else. The cats have been known to enlist her help when we're trying to track down a mouse they've brought home. Getting Shrub to help you hide things is not difficult - just turn it into a game and she's on board. We rather hope she never grows up.
